Gsxm's Lexique de la Langue de Moliere. The text is that of M. Lavmnn's excellent little volume, ' which is a faithful reprint of the editio princeps collated with the edition of Moliere's complete works, published in 1682.Vonnmn's biographical sketch appropriately pre faces this amusing comedy, the notes are partly of a literary, partly of a philological character, the latter being those which from their length could not well be included in the vocabulary. The literary appre ciations, taken from the best commentators, such as LA Hum, bret, auger, MM. Sainte-beuve, Sunr maro girardin, vinet, tuznz, etc., etc., will, I trust, be found useful.
