Sulte, le mot gouverneur qui signifiait à cette époque peu de choses est devenu, dans notre bouche, un terme presque royal. Quoi qu'il en soit, en arrivant à trois-rivières, M. De Ramezay ne resta pas inactif. Aidé de M. De Beaucour, il fit mettre la place en état de défense.
