»Corruption in the Health Sector« The author presents the system of statutory health insurance and the law governing the medical profession. This is followed by an interpretation of the individual constituent elements of the penal provisions of §§ 299a, b StGB. On the basis of these legal foundations, the author examines the risks of criminal liability in different forms of cooperation in the health care system. Special consideration is given to the influence of extra-judicial regulations on the elements of the criminal provisions.
