»Kant¿s Voice. A Study on the Political in Immanuel Kant«
Immanuel Kant is one of the most important political thinkers in the history of philosophy. There is no history of political philosophy which does not feature this cosmopolitan from Königsberg. Nevertheless, his exact understanding of »politics« has been little studied so far. In view of this gap in the research, this work examines the question: What is the essence of Kant's politics or of the political in Kant? The political for Kant will manifest as an attribute of the cooperative action through which human becomes human. At the same time, the analysis shows that Kant's call to enlightenment is seen as a call to becoming human through just politics, which is based on his quest to express the voice of reason.
