John and Linden met through a mutual friend at a Western Swing dance in Canton, Texas. They discovered they shared creative passions, John's love of writing cowboy poetry, and Linden's love of photography. They agreed that putting together this book would be a great project for both of them. As the project progressed they realized a reoccurring theme, one of a Journey Back to their youth. This book has been in the works for more than two years. Linden searching for the photographs that John could bring to life with his poetry. This book is a result of that search.
