Excerpt from Journal of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 1918Mr. Warner of Taunton moved that James W. Kimball of Swaompscott be elected Clerk of the House by acclamation. This motion prevailed, Mr. Kimball was unanimously elected, and declaration was made accordingly.Mr. Kimball was then conducted to the Council Chamber by a committee consisting of Messrs. Newhall of Stoneham and Georg e C. F.
