Of these, the earliest mention is of John Moses of Plymouth.There is nothing to indicate relationship between him and John Moses of Portsmouth, but family traditions and statements, as well as strong circumstantial evidence and the inherent probabili~ ties of the case, seem to determine beyond reasonable doubt that he was the father Of John Moses Of Windsor.
