Excerpt from Jahrbuch der Geologischen Reichsanstalt, 1918, Vol. 68Sandsteine. Letztere bilden etwa 20 cm dicke Banke und weisen auf der Ober¿ache Wellenfurchen auf. Fossilien vermochte ich nicht zu finden. Die marine Fauna liegt in den Sandsteinen, dort, wo beim so-ende des Dorfes Golonog die beiden Eisenbahnstrecken ganz nahe aneinander kommen. In dem ostlicheren der beiden Einschnitte sind im Sandsteine seines Sudendes Chonetes Hrardensis, Phillipsia etc. Häufig. Sonst aber erweist sich dieser Einschnitt als fossilleer. Im westlichen Einschnitt findet man in seinem mittlerem Teil reichlich Fossilien.
