INTRODUCTION In reality, out motivations are often a mix of both intrinsic and extrinsic factors and the nature of the mix can change over time, Motivation describes the wants or needs that direct behaviour toward a goal, in contrast, and emotion is a subjective state of being that we often describe as feeling. There are two spaces that make workers creative of which came from the internal (selfdetermination) and external (surrounding environment). Internal motivation comes from the encouragement given by family, either from husband, wife, parent or child. External motivation can be seen from the surrounding environment and circumstances that support the work. They are always directed towards goals. As the needs are more basic than wants, a need may lead to different wants for different people. This differentiation comes from the influence of environment in which one lives. For achieving what a person wants, they will think about what alternative actions will be required to be taken by them. They will then evaluate these possible actions, and then select the one with the least cost/effort. Motivation is not a personal trait, but a result of the interaction between the individual and the situation. Motivation has close relationship with the behaviour of human beings. Work is an essential element and one of greater influence is engagement at work and the quality of life of individuals, considering on spends most of the day performing and engaging at work-related activities, which require both physical and psychological energy. 1.2 : WORK MOTIVATION Work motivation is defined as "A set of energetic forces that originate both within as well as beyond and individuals¿being, to initiate work-related behaviour, and to determine its form, direction, intensity, and duration" (Pinder, 2008). Understanding what motivates an organization¿s employees is central to the study of Industrial and organizational psychology. (Kanfer, Ruth, Chen, Gilad, Pritchard & Robert, 2008) Motivation is a person¿s internal disposition to be concerned with and approach positive incentives and avoid negative incentives. To further this, an incentive is the anticipated reward or aversive event available in the environment.
