When Harriet, out for her early morning walk, sees a man in the distance, lying on the green of the first hole of the Happy Trails Retirement Village golf course, she rushes over to see if she can help. She can't. The man has been shot and is quite dead. Having been a surgical nurse for thirty years, she knows what death looks like.
