It does not profess to be an absolutely detailed account of this unit's service, but rather a summary of important events since its mobilisation. In one or two isolated cases it may be found to be incomplete, but it is hoped that the real purpose for which it is written will be accomplished, that is, to have some permanent testimony of the service rendered during the great European War.
