Harvard College, Class of 1864

Angebote / Angebote:

Excerpt from Harvard College, Class of 1864: Secretary's Report, No. 4, June, 1871 June, 1874 The record of domestic events fills up a large part of this Report, and it is noticeable that the bachelors for the first time are forced to hand in a minority report, and that the descendants of the Class are rapidly increasing. I would again acknowledge my indebtedness to Sprague for valuable assistance in the preparation of the manuscript and the correction of the proofs of this Report, and my thanks to those of the Class who replied promptly and in detail to my circular. In accordance with a vote of the Class Committee, and agreeably to the expressed wishes of many of the Class, a Class Supper will hereafter annually take place on the evening preceding Commence ment Day. The next Report will be published in 1879. Renewing the wish which I expressed at the close of my last Report, that this record may serve to strengthen the love we have for our class and the interest which we feel in each other's welfare.
