This ready reference material on psychotropic drugs has been prepared for clinical use by nursing students and nurses assigned to the psychiatric ward of Jimma University Teaching Hospital. It is hoped that this hand book will provide quick information on dosage, action, indications, contra-indications and the side effects of the psychotropic drugs which are commonly and currently available, prescribed (administered) to patients being treated in the psychiatric department of Jimma University.
