Globalization of American Fear Culture traces the parallel development of three historical institutions: the generation of fear for controlling people, the US empire, and global capitalism. Through historical accounts and dialectical analysis the book offers the argument that a fear culture, US hegemony, and the globalization of capital are intertwined and interdependent.
