It was w1th some reluctance that I abandoned the use of the towel in the administration of chloroform, as I was educated in the belief that it was the best plan to follow. I now think that the employment of Allis' inhaler is better, and even safer. In the first place, I am sure that there must be less risk when only a few drops of chloroform are used at a time than when4 dr. Beatson - Ou the Administration of Chloroform.
