Rivera - The principal rivers are the Merfey and the Dec, theic receive, and carry 03 to the (ca, all the {mallet rivers and rivulets in Chefhire, viz. The Weaver, the Dane, the Wheelock, the Goyte, the Bolling, Ste. Fire. The river Merfcy divides Chethire from Lancathire for near fixty miles, and is navigable about thirty-five miles from Liver pool, which isiituated at the mouth of the river, on the Lan ca¿tire tide, as far up as to the mouth of the river Irtvell, {or veltels of lixty tons. The Dee forms a part of the weflem boundary of the county, and is navigable from the {ea to the city of Cheflerffor ve¿'els of confiderable burthen.
