Teisa is an ancient name for the River Tees - one of England's great rivers - flowing through the wild, multi-layered landscape of the northern dales. Judi Sutherland follows an unknown 18th century female poet, Anne Wilson, on a journey in poetry, along its banks, from wild, sheep-grazed moors, past spectacular waterfalls and lush farmland, to the industrial wastelands at the river's mouth.
