Welcome to the 'Focus On Microscopy 2015' conference, taking place in our university cityGöttingen from March 29th to April 1st at the 'Lokhalle'. This yearly conference series wasstarted in 1988 by Andres Kriete in Giessen, Germany, and has over the years welcomed agrowing number of delegates and exhibitors from all over the world. FOM continues inGöttingen with an overwhelming amount of contributions from the different fields of microscopy.This year's special focus will be on super-resolution microscopy techniques. We congratulateProf. Stefan Hell with the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, and are honored that he is thekeynote lecturer of this year's conference.
