This is a revision and update of "Ferries of the Isle of Man Past and Present" and includes a number of photographs not previously published. It was the revision of this earlier booklet that led to the publication of the Transport Features Series. In addition to presenting a pictorial record of the island's passenger shipping over more than half a century, it also records significant changes which have taken place around the ports of the Isle of Man which in many ways reflect the changes nationally. The author of the book although best known for his photographs of shipping has recorded many aspects of island life particularly with regard to transport over the last 50 years.
