English as a Second Language

Two words can always have any number of different relationships with each other. It can be something superficial like the fact that they start with the same later, or something strange like the fact that they have the same number of letters.
But the most interesting relationships are usually those of synonyms and antonyms: words which mean approximately the same thing, or words that have opposite meanings.
These are very important when you study for a big standardized test like the GMAT, the GRE, or the SAT. If you are able to learn a pair of synonyms, you halve the amount of work involved, and you are able to save precious time.
I wish you the very best for your career!
