Excerpt from El Palacio, Vol. 24: January 7, 1928Pueblo, near Flagstaff, Arizona, consisting principally of pottery new to the Museum, was transferred from the Bureau of American Ethnology. Research by the curator of physical anthropology, Dr. Ales Hrdlicka, a member of the managing committee of the School of American Research, was continued in two major lines of man's evolution and antiquity and of the origin and antiquity Of American aborigines. The Museum now has specimens, which would indicate that in the Department of Anthropology in the future, it is not so much specimen hunting and acquisition, that is important, as it is to correlate and study what has been gathered and to pub lish the results.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
