A Suggestion for a Rearrangement«: As a result of a fundamental change in social expectations with regard to the question how to deal with victims of crime on the one hand and a continuing threat to a criminal procedure code governed by the rule of law due to increasing populism on the other, the participation of the victim in the German criminal procedure code (Strafprozessordnung) needs to be restructured.
