His sons and daughters moved west to Ohio and then to Illinois in Mercer County where they became farmers and miners in the nearby lead mines. The author's uncle, Donald Eugene Morse, came from this family and his son Vern Morse has spent years investigating the family, adding pictures and photos of them.
