Bill being a good P I. figured out that the syndicate was involved. Being a good P I Bill was hard to trick, but this case was getting the best of him. As the story continues Bill falls in love with Lilley, to find out latter she was lying to him, all the time. People were being killed and no one knew who was doing the killing.
