All large markets were glutted with low-grade cattle in little better than feeder ¿esh. Well conditioned yearling steers went above $13 at Chicago, due to the scarcity of arrivals and long-fed weighty steers were also strong. Sharp down turns in fat lamb values were due to heavy receipts and the weakening in¿uence of the impending Thanksgiving holiday.
