The South is losing the war. In a last ditch effort to turn the war around and give the Confederacy a chance of salvation, a solid deadly attempt is made in a trade agreement with France for guns and gold bullion. Twenty-two desperte Confederate soldiers embark on a trip across the ocean to France. They encounter Union spies and cut throat dealings with the French Ambassador before they arrive in Mexico.
