About the Author Mel W. Palmer has been a registered nurse for forty years. Much of his writing is influenced by what he's experienced. In his younger years, he was a musician, playing the trumpet and the drums. He had a very full childhood, and he feels he's had a few lives: his childhood, his years as a musician, his years as a nurse, and now his time as a poet.
