Excerpt from Census Of Agriculture Bulletin, 1922: Recensement Agricole BulletinThe present bulletin is the first of a series to be issued containing tabulated results of the Census of Agriculture taken June 1, 1921, in connection Wlth the' Census of Population of the same date. This bulletin deals with the field crops of the three Prairie Provinces, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. All the tables are comparative, the figures of the Census of 1921 being presented together With those of previous census years Where available. For the individual provinces (tables 5-13) the comparison embraces all field crops and is confined to the decennial censuses-of 1921, 1911 and 1901. In presenting the figures for the three Prairie Provinces combined (tables 1 only the principal crops have been listed, but the quinquennial returns of 1916 and 1906 have been included as well as those already mentioned. In the Census of 1906 the value of crops was not reported. In the Census of 1901 the value of all field crops but not of the individual crops was given.
