Availing myself of Presidential, if not exactly poetical license, I shall use the term con cussion of the brain in the widest sense, to include much that accompanies, and is a good deal more than simple concussion alone. The subject is well worn, but not, I believe, by any means exhausted, and. There are surely no members in any section of this learned society to whom it can ever fail to be of interest, and sometimes of personal concern.
