Excerpt from Blue Book of Cambridge 1904: Containing Lists of the Leading Residents, Societies, Clubs, Etc, Street Directory and Map of Cambridge In issuing Volume XIX of the Series of Cambridge Blue Books we wish to thank our patrons for their orders as well as all who have kindly aided us by responding to our inquiries. We have succeeded this year in publishing the book before Christmas, which will please many of our subscribers. We could not print so full a list of Societies with their officers, as many hold their elections in December, but have made that feature of the book as complete as possible. We believe our list of residents will be found as full and accurate as it was possible to make it. We do not claim it is perfect, as that would be impossible, after going through so many hands in its compilation. We have added a few streets to our list. The map we give with the book in-cludes Somerville and is lithographed by G. H. Walker & Co. We wish to remind our patrons that this is the only Cambridge Blue Book, although there are others that purport to be such.
