This textbook for media based case studies shows how the concept can be applied in practice. The reader learns how a case study is defined in didactic terms, how cases can be documented by video and adapted for teaching purposes and what the uses are that they offer to further education. These teaching notes are aimed at future developers of case studies as well as users, who will learn how to use case studies in different settings as well as how to recognize suitable cases themselves. These firsthand reports of projects will encourage the development of further practical models.
