This work is primarily a collection of thirteen Essays that I have written over the last three years with the exception of my essay on music which was written and published in 1967. Apologia Essays...incorporates my "right to write" philosophy of formal written statements defending and justifying one's opinions and behavior both in the act of writing and in its results. I say primarily essays because when I had concluded their writing, I was rummaging through several of my writing folders and rediscovered some works that had previously been completed. It occurred to me that given the nature of these other writing efforts they would most likely never see the light of day in the publishing world and would forever be lost to humanity. Now undoubtedly some will say after reading these pieces that that would have been a good thing. I've named these other pieces...And Some Other Writing Stuff. Perhaps a reader may find some worth in my Apologia Essays and Some Other Writing Stuff efforts.
