Jane Griffiths was born in Exeter in 1970, and brought up in Holland. She studied English at Oxford and earned her doctorate there. She has taught at Oxford and Edinburgh University and is currently teaching at University of Bristol. She won an Eric Gregory Award for her poetry in 1996. This latest work includes a new collection, 'Eclogue Over Merlin Street', together with large selections from her previous two collections. A Grip on Thin Air and Icarus on Earth.
