The Delegations advise their respective governments on the scope, directionand other broad aspects of the Program, and develop review procedures to assure fulfillment of the purposes for which the Program was established, Jointly the United States and Japanese Delegations have designated the Slx areas of research which fall within the scope of the overall Program.In Japan the Program activities are the responsibility of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Education.
