Angela's Mixtape was originally developed with the Hip-Hop Theater Festival in New York. Its rolling world premiere began at Synchronicity Performance Group in Atlanta in February 2008, and continued with New Georges and Hip-Hop Theater Festival in New York City (April-May 2009). Development support from New Dramatists, New York Theater Workshop, National Performance Network, La Peña Cultural Center, Second Stage, Culture Project. Second professional production at Vineyard Playhouse on Martha's Vineyard. The History of Light was commissioned and developed by the Geva Theater in Rochester, NY. Produced by the Contemporary American Theater Festival in Shepherdstown, WV in 2009 and Passage Theatre Company in Trenton, NJ in 2011. Supplemental development support from New Dramatists and The Public Theater.
