Justin Turing - an Englishman abroad - is a very depressed fellow. He works in New York for a TV advertising agency, his expertise is in his 4th dimension radio valve gifted to him by his great uncle. The valve, invented in the early days of WW2, has the ability to slip a minute fraction of time. With the help of his wife Jane, a TV creative, he discovers he can extend this minute time-slip. A series of secret interviews with past dignitaries are planned, which they intend to go public with - but disgruntled Mafioso, Leon Patruci, has other ideas.
