Many friends have contributed pictures, and to them our thanks are due. The Committee wishes that it could reproduce in the book many more pictures Of very real interest which it has in its archives, but it has felt, in choosing the illustrations, that the pictures must be either typical or necessary to bring out some point under discussion.
