Excerpt from Addresses Delivered by Professors Winston and Eve: At the Opening of the Medical Department of the University of Nashville, on the Third Day of November, 1851I appear before you, to-day, for the purpose of deliver ing an address, introductory, to the first course of lectures to be given in the Medical Department of the University of Nashville. Istand, on this occasion, as the represen tive of my colleagues, who, though proud of the confidence reposed in them, tremble under the obligations which they have assumed.
