As it is I feel constrained to apologize for the many defects in it and to ask the reader's kind consideration of the fact that compiling the various small particles making up the whole story was no small task and took much more time than was anticipated.In closing, let me dedicate this little book to the many good chums of both sexes, who have sailed with me, and who have put much of pleasure into my life.
