It discusses posthumanism versus transhumanism, becoming-beast from Deleuze & Guattari, intenisty in Lyotard, incommensurability & indeterminacy, the strugle between chaos & order & goddess Tiamat, & the beauty of nature contrasted with the weakness & narcissism of humanism & modern humans, with their blind belief in technology & science but accompanying dysgenic fertility, no beast left in them. There seems to be no poetry left us, & Mclean tries to find where it is hiding away.
