Oh god! We praise thee, and intreat of thee, to Shed abroad the love of the father and of christ in our hearts. Make self more hateful, and jesus more precious, and may we grow up into him our Living Head In all things and permit the poor worm who is now writing to the citizens of thy Zion, to ask thy blessing on the Hymns that follow. Lord! Let thine Ala mighty auction rest on them. Give thy children an happy understanding Of the great things of thy law.
