The book is the story of how Evangelical Church of Manus (ECOM) missionaries came to N'Dranou on Manus Island (Papua New Guinea) in 1926 and the first ECOM Christians. It is also the story of how the N'Dranou Christian converts have become deeply involved in the progress of the church in N'Dranou.
