Excerpt from 2001 Illinois Register, Vol. 25: Rules of Governmental Agencies, August 31, 2001, Pages 10, 966 11, 199 Whenever an individual has voluntarily elected, pursuant to Section 1300 of the Act, to have'monies withheld for federal income tax from his unemployment benefits for a period covered by a benefit check, the Department shall withhold lgi5% of the amount of benefits that are subject to withhdlding under subsection (a), rounded (if not already a multiple 'of one dollar) to the nearest dollar. If the product is equally near 2 multiples of one dollar, it shall be rounded to the higher multiple of one dollar. If the individual's benefits for the period, less amounts subject to recoupment under Section and less any involuntary deductions for delinquent child support pursuant to Section are less than ls% of the amount of benefits subject to withholding under subsection (a), the entire amount of the benefits remaining shall be withheld.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
